How to print your own tarot deck
To print a one-off tarot deck with a different picture on every card, you need a printer that takes one image per card, such as The Game Crafter, which prints tarot cards at 2.75 × 4.75 in from 900 × 1500 px files. Kinarcana makes those files from your ChatGPT deck and orders the printing for you: $29 for 23 cards in a tarot box, US shipping included.
Print a personal tarot deck
- Make the art. One picture per card, portrait, at least about 720 × 1080 px of usable image.
- Lay out each card. Add frame, number and name at 900 × 1500 px (300 ppi with a 0.125 in bleed), keeping text 0.25 in from the edge.
- Choose a back. Use a pattern that looks the same upside down: printed decks come unsorted and either way up.
- Upload and order. Upload each face and the back to a per-card printer, or order from Kinarcana in ChatGPT, which does these steps for you.
